Expect to finish each day feeling accomplished and you’ll truly understand what “spaghetti arms” feels like.
We Surf The Best Waves
Being mobile gives us the luxury of finding the best waves in the area for shortboarding.
We surf for as long as the group lasts or conditions allow we aren't limited by any time restraints.
Small Groups
We keep our groups small, just 8 people, so every surfer gets the attention they need to progress.
This allows for more personalised coaching, better feedback, and a more focused, supportive learning environment.
Surf Skate Session
Join us for a beginner introduction session and social skate one afternoon/evening. Its amazing to practice turning on land and transfer it to the ocean.

Our Coaching
We keep our groups small with only 8 people per course, with three coaches, so we can effectively help and advise everyone.
We have a mix of technical theories and open conversations about surfing. We believe improving your surfing isn't just in the technique but also in the mindset. Our ethos is to give you the permission to play and encourage learning from and supporting each other.
Our technical theories use demonstrations, videos, images, on land practice and in water exercises. We have created our curriculum through years of experience and critical thinking combining them in a way that's easier to understand and digest.

I recently attended a shortboard weekend with Gather and Glide, and it was fantastic. Allannah and Sam are so much fun, really encouraging, and expert coaches. They have zero egos and they create a brilliant no pressure fun learning environment. The video analysis and photo package was really useful to help us improve, and also a really nice memento. We even did a surf skate session which helped to drill in the muscle memory for movements before trying them in the water.
